Big Sky - the world-famous all-season resort area; located about 1 hour south of Bozeman.
Livingston - historical small town 30 minutes east of Bozeman. Livingston comprises the northern border of Paradise Valley and has a lively downtown with restaurants, bars, art galleries, and the Murray, an authentic western hotel.
Paradise Valley - bordered by mountain ranges on both the east and the west, this spectacular valley runs north to south from Livingston to Gardiner along the banks of the Yellowstone River.
Gardiner - small town at the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park; about 90 minutes south of Bozeman. Attractions at the north end of the park include Mammoth Hot Springs, Lamar Valley, Mount Washburn, and Bunsen Peak. (Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic Springs, and other geothermic attractions are an additional 90 minutes from Gardiner).
West Yellowstone - small town at the west entrance to Yellowstone National park; about 2 hours south of Bozeman. This is the best entrance to use if you want to explore the lower parts of Yellowstone which include Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic Springs, and Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, among other attractions.
